Festival Fashion

Yes it’s that time again. Time to show off your fashion ’savoire’ against a camouflage backdrop of grey skies, mud and tree whilst headbanging to indie music and getting splattered with flying cups of lager. What’s that about?  But back to fash, avoid the army palette unless you want to blend in. Fit in, that’s another story. Here are The Style Critic’s choices for those festival staples:

Whaddaya know girls, there’s a Welly Warehouse.

Hunter Lace Wellies

Hunter Lace Wellies

Don’t leave without your wellies. At some point it WILL rain. It’s the BRITISH isles, not Turks and Caicos. These are a modern update on the traditional Hunters but with  a funkier shorter vibe. The Style Critic prefers green, navy or black. Pink with purple hearts? No thanks. We’re not five. The blurb says: Vulcanised natural rubber construction; Orthopaedic last for the legendary Hunter fit; Cushioned sponge insole; Quick dry colourful striped knitted nylon lining; Contrasting piping around foot; Unisex fitting.

A safe bet.

Le Chameau 'Vega' Evolution

The Style Critic likes the utilitarian robustness of these babies. Introducing Le Chameau ‘Vega’ Evolution. Made more for skinny jeans or leggings than country pursuits, really. The first rubber boot to take advantage of a Vibram hiking boot sole too, apparently.

£109.00  (ouch!)
